The perks of First Friday are here again, as the Snyderman-Works Galleries in Old City presents “The Spirit of the Figure: Four Views” along with a copious amount of free Spaten beer.
Sponsored by Spaten Beer and digphilly.com, the First Friday exhibit features four artists: Adrian Arleo, Matt Nolen, Richard Shaw, Jindra Vikova.
The exhibit “presents the figure as metaphor, suggestive of but not necessarily replicating nature, formed by skills that celebrate our ability as humans to invest inanimate materials with emotional meaning.”
So if you want to get your fill of art and booze, head to the Snyderman-Works Galleries, 303 Cherry St., from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday Dec. 5.
