One Year of Firsts: I'm Flying!

Day 113

There is an art, or rather a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. ~Douglas Adams, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Many of you have suggested I jump out of a plane for a First this year. The problem is I did that when I was 22 and didn't have any sense! (Actually, I was pushed out of the plane. I have this on video somewhere and will share it with you some day.)

Anyway, I did fly today in an air tunnel! It was awesome and so much better than hoping and praying to God my parachute would open.

Check out my one minute flight with ifly indoor skydiving near Universal Studios in LA.

It's so loud you can't hear a thing. The air just pushes you up and you have to find a balance. A great little thrill.

Those marks on my face? They only took an hour to go away. Ha.  All fun, no worries about crashing.
