It's not the heat, it's the humidity. Doug Pederson knows this as well as anyone.
NFL Films put a microphone on the Eagles' rookie coach for his first regular season game as the man in Philadelphia.
If you watched video of Doug's post-game victory speech, you'll know Doug isn't the most entertaining orator. And that's okay! Just win, baby.
So it's not exactly surprising that his Sound FX segment is relatively tame. He does get in a nice line to the refs about extending the endzone in an attempt to turn an RGIII safety into a touchdown for the Birds. No luck on that, though.
There's also a nice little nugget from Jordan Matthews about his touchdown celebration, when he threw the ball at the Eagles logo. Carson Wentz said something like, "I thought [Matthews] was going to chuck it into the crowd."
"I wasn't going to take that fine," Matthews joked.
