Eagles Inactives: No Surprises; Bryce Treggs Active for 1st Time

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Eagles are without two starters in a huge game against the Giants on Sunday afternoon.

Bennie Logan (groin) and Allen Barbre (hamstring) are both inactive, which wasn't a surprise after both were ruled out coming into Sunday. Kamu Grugier-Hill (hamstring) and Taylor Hart (ankle) are also inactive after being ruled out.

Beau Allen will start for Logan. Stefen Wisniewski will start for Barbre.

Joined that foursome as the Eagles' other inactive players are OL Dillon Gordon and OL Josh Andrews. With just 52 players on the roster, the Eagles have just six inactive players on Sunday instead of seven.

As expected, rookie offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo and rookie receiver Bryce Treggs are active for their first NFL games on Sunday.

Seumalo will serve as the Eagles' backup at both guard spots and Wisniewski will be the backup center. So if Jason Kelce were to leave the game, Wisniewski would move to center and Seumalo would fill in at guard. Matt Tobin is the backup at both tackle spots.

How the best cornerback in the draft fell to the Eagles

Treggs, the speedy wideout the Eagles claimed from the 49ers after last cuts, will help fill the void left by Josh Huff. Huff was cut on Thursday after getting arrested on Tuesday. Treggs probably won't get all of Huff's vacated snaps, but they'll instead be spread around to several players.

Rookie cornerback C.J. Smith will be active for his second straight game.

For the Giants, QB Ryan Nassib, WR Tavarres King, CB Leon Hall, safety Darian Thompson, former Eagles LB Deontae Skinner, OT Will Beatty and DE Kerry Wynn are inactive.
