Charlie Manuel has had the last laugh -- his critics have been silenced so let's hear from the man of the hour himself.

The Phillies are the World Champs and good ole "Uncle Charlie" couldn't be happier.

Here are some of our favorite Manuel quotes:

"I always thought we could win the World Series... I will admit it."

Laughingly Manuel said, "One of these days, I might get a job like Dallas [Green]... Get to go to Atlantic City every now and then, get go to the Poconos."

Manuel took some time after the game to reflect on his mother who died during the playoffs.

"My mum would be very happy...She would be laughing and giggling and telling me how good my team was."
