Phillies second baseman Chase Utley has once again won the NL Silver Slugger Award.
This is the fourth consecutive time the slugger was bestowed the award, the Phillies announced Thursday. Utley is second in both the league and the club for most-consecutive wins -- Ryne Sandberg holds the NL record with five and Mike Schmidt holds the team record with six.
Utley was a home run gem this season tying the league record with 31.
The second baseman's award comes days after teammates Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino were given Golden Gloves.
