That was just one of the complements President Barack Obama paid Villanova Men’s Basketball coach Jay Wright during a brief call from the Oval Office.

“Coach, it was a great game because it wasn’t like North Carolina gave it away,” said Obama. “They hit big shots and you guys came right back.”
Obama would go on to call the Wildcats’ championship run through March Madness “a pleasure to watch.”
And Kris Jenkins buzzer-beating three-pointer in Monday’s championship game must have caught the attention of the president.

And the amazing ride for Wright and his Wildcats won’t end with Friday’s championship parade in Philly. They have another event on the horizon thanks to an invite for the Commander in Chief.

At the end of the 37-second video you hear Wright’s voice saying “thank you, take care.”
No word yet when the Wildcats will roar into the White House with the traditional championship visit.
