Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel and defensive end Trent Cole have been tweeting in earnest since joining Twitter last week, and Samuel has already come out with his predictions for Super Bowl XLIV:
- "This is about to be a Superbowl winning season fareal" and,
- "Defence wins championships"
Could it be? Who knows, but after a great draft and the signing of an outstanding LT, this town is more excited about the Eagles than we have been in awhile, The700Level writes.
Samuel's also been tweeting about some of the street action he's been getting:
- "Just saw some guys playin football down from my hotel. I ran up and just intercepted a pass then ran away...they didn't find it too funny"
Can you imagine playing street football with your buddies and all of a sudden an Pro Bowl cornerback jumps in the game and zips the other way with your errant pass? Eagletarian asks.
The Cole Train hasn't been as chatty as his "cuz" -- probably 'cause he's busy doing other things, like "playin some pickup ball at the gym."
