With declining poll numbers but an improving economic outlook, President Barack Obama dispatches his economic team to the Sunday morning talk shows.

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan field questions from ABC “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos.

Meanwhile, National Economic Council Director Larry Summers appears on NBC’s “Meet the Press” and CBS’s “Face the Nation” to set expectations for the stimulus package.

And White House Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Christina Romer visits CNN’s “State of the Union,” along with Obama’s former rival Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

After a week of tough negotiations on health care and with the House now in recess, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) appears on Bloomberg TV’s “Political Capital.”

Finally, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood appears on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers,” where he’s likely to address the cash-for-clunkers program and the pending reauthorization of multi-year transportation funding.
