A woman who police say was shot by her husband who then took his own life died from her injuries.
Carol Ann Piroli, 68, passed away on Tuesday at 6:18 p.m., according to the Delaware County District Attorney's Office.
Police say Piroli's husband, 67-year-old Richard Piroli, shot her several times in the head just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday in their home on the 600 block of West Ashland Avenue.
Richard Piroli then shot and killed himself, according to officials.
