Water Main Break Disrupts Lansdale Morning Rush

A suburban Philadelphia roadway has reopened after a water main break caused flooding and traffic detours.

North Penn Water Authority says the pipe ruptured around 12 a.m. Thursday on Cannon Avenue in Lansdale.

The company had expected the street to be closed between 2nd and Main streets through the morning rush hour.

The water company says the break didn't disrupt service to customers.

Lansdale is about 23 miles north of Philadelphia.
