State Police are on the hunt for the person or people responsible for stealing from a fishing event for handicapped children.

Officials say 170 trout were stolen Friday between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. from the Pike Township Sportsman Association on 860 Hill Church Road in Oley, Pennsylvania. The fish were to be used for the Handicap Kids Rodeo. The Sportsman Association ended up buying 200 more fish and the event took place as scheduled on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you have any information on the theft, please call the Pa. State Police Reading Station at 610-378-4011.
