Swastika Scratched Onto Car, Other Vehicles Damaged

The tires on 12 cars were slashed in Toms River, and a swastika was etched into an SUV

    The tires on a dozen cars were slashed and another vehicle was vandalized with an anti-Semitic symbol in a New Jersey auto center, police said.

    Police are trying to obtain surveillance video in Toms River.

    The cars, which were in and near the lot of AMG Motors Service Center on Fischer Boulevard, were slashed overnight from Saturday to Sunday.

    Police tell the Asbury Park Press someone scratched a swastika in the rear door of one of the vehicles.

    The damage estimate is at least $4,000.
