UPDATE: Atlantic City Line Now Among Transit Services Resuming Throughout Region

Several mass transit lines suspended in the wake of Tuesday's storm were back on schedule by the Thursday morning rush.

PATCO was back on its normal schedule by 6 a.m. The transit system had been completely shut down on Wednesday after it lost power in the storm.

All of SEPTA's Regional Rail lines were also back in service Thursday morning, including the Media/Elwyn and Fox Chase Lines, which had both been fully suspended for hours.

Service on New Jersey Transit's Atlantic City line is also set to resume. Service will resume between Atlantic City and Philadelphia Friday with the 4:39 p.m. train from Atlantic City and 5:47 train from Philadelphia.

Tuesday's severe weather has kept the train out of service because of damage to signal communications systems.

At least one SEPTA bus route remained detoured a result of storm damage. Westbound service on Route 114 was ending at Neumann University due to downed trees and power lines.
