Strong storms moved through our region Thursday night.
The heavy rain and powerful wind caused damage from Lehigh County to Philadelphia. A tornado was reported in upstate New York.
Here at home, damaging winds brought down trees and power lines.
PECO says 17,000 customers are in the dark. PSE&G is reporting 10,700 customers without power. About 2,500 of those are in Camden County.
The storms were sparked by excessive heat and humidity. And we're not out of the woods yet.
It will still be hot and humid on Friday and we could be in for more storms.
