If you’ve had enough of those busted curb sidewalks along the street help is on the way.  PennDOT will repair hundreds of sidewalk ramps along state routes to accomodate the physically challenged on Monday according to KYW1060.com.

The $1.4-million dollar project was financed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to repair 400 sidewalk ramps.

Construction workers started work on Cottman Avenue early Monday morning.

There will be lane restrictions from Oxford Avenue to Large Street between 7am to 4pm daily.  Other state route sidewalks getting repairs include Torresdale Avenue, Princeton Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue to Frankford Avenue.

Drivers should prepare for delays and take alternative routes.
