Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Coming From Pa.

It's (almost) the most wonderful time of the year.

A small-town spruce from rural northeastern Pennsylvania is heading to the big city.

A 74-foot Norway Spruce is set to begin its journey to New York City on Wednesday so it can be erected in Rockefeller Center.

The tree is coming from the Keller family's property in Mifflinville, Pa.

The enormous evergreen will be cut down and hoisted by a crane on to a flatbed trailer for its three-hour trip to New York. The tree is scheduled to arrive in Manhattan on Friday and be put up in the plaza overlooking the ice rink.

The lighting ceremony is scheduled for November 30.
