Police Officer's Widow to Sue TGI Friday's

Linda Lorenzo has filed a lawsuit against the restaurant that served the accused drunk driver that killed her husband

Linda Lorenzo lost her husband on July 8. Officer Brian Lorenzo was heading home after work on his highway patrol motorcycle when he was killed. Investigators say he was hit by a car driving the wrong way on I-95 near Cottman Avenue.

47-year-old John Leck Jr., of Levittown, was charged with third-degree murder, and homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, among other charges.

Investigators say Leck was driving after drinking at a T.G.I. Friday's in Bensalem, Bucks County, Pa.

Mrs. Lorenzo says the restaurant served Leck at least six alcoholic beverages before the crash, and according to the lawsuit, his blood-alcohol level was .218, which is more than twice the legal limit.

She is seeking compensation for lost financial support and companionship, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Brian Lorenzo was a 23-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department. He had three children, ages 24,22, and 4. Linda and Brian were high school sweethearts.
