Police in Brick Township, New Jersey investigating after what appeared to be a human skull turned up in some woods.
The skull was found in a wooded area of the township's Lake Riviera section around 3 p.m. Tuesday, said police.
Investigators closed a stretch of Arizona Drive and Old Toms River Road between Beaverson Boulevard and Emerald Drive as police combed the area.
Police asked anyone with information about the skull to call Brick police at 732-262-1143 or the Ocean County's Prosecutor's Office at 732-929-2027.
