The accident happened on East Boot Road around 7 a.m. Monday.

Woman on Bike Struck, Killed by Car in West Goshen

A woman on a bike was struck and killed by a car in West Goshen.

A woman is dead after she was hit by a car Monday morning while riding a bike in West Goshen.

Police say Kirsten Higley, 32, of Exton, Pa., was riding her bike on East Boot Road when she was struck by a car. Higley was taken to Paoli Hospital where she died a short time later.

Police say the driver in the crash, a 54-year-old Downingtown woman, was not injured and has been cooperative with the investigation.

Police continue to investigate the accident. Anyone who has information on this incident should call the West Goshen Police Department Traffic Safety Division at 610-696-7400.
