A Philadelphia police officer is in stable condition after being stabbed while trying to break up a fight outside of a West Philly bar early Sunday morning, according to police.

Lt. Jonathon Josey was stabbed in the back while trying to break up an argument between two women and another off-duty policeman, said authorities.

Markea Golphin and Aiesha Palmer are both charged with attempted murder and related offenses after stabbing Josey and trying to get rid of the knife.
