New Jersey Car Dealer Accused of Fraud

Federal prosecutors have accused a luxury car dealer in New Jersey of engaging in a pattern of fraud.

Bobby Khan owned Emporio Motor Group in Ramsey and sold Bentleys, Lamborghinis and Porsches.

According to the complaint unsealed on Tuesday, the 22-year-old Egg Harbor Township resident defrauded lenders and customers.

More than 75 people have file filed complaints against the dealer.

Authorities say Khan obtained loans for vehicles that he had no title for and sold autos on consignment but never paid the owners or gave the buyers the titles.

Khan faces one count of wire fraud and remains a fugitive. Authorities believe he fled the country.
