An elderly man who went missing Saturday night was found dead on Sunday.

Cyrus Adams, 75, went missing on Saturday around 6:30 p.m. Family members told police that Adams walked away from his home on the 200 block of Alban Drive in Wilmington, Delaware. According to the family, Adams used oxygen daily and needed his medication.

Police and a canine team searched his home and the surrounding area Saturday night but were unable to find him.

On Sunday, a passerby spotted a man lying on the railroad tracks near the back of a building in the 700 block of Robinson Court. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and responding officers identified him as Adams.

Investigators say foul play is not suspected. They have not yet released an exact cause of death however.
