Men Wanted for Gambling Tax Trick Nabbed at Casino

This gamble didn't pay off.

Two men wanted on charges they failed to report gambling winnings in Delaware have been arrested at a casino in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains.

The Pocono Record reports Shaun Joseph Benward and Jerome James Hartfield were taken into custody as fugitives Wednesday at Mount Airy Casino in Mount Pocono.

Police say the 27-year-old Benward and the 45-year-old Hartfield didn't report their winnings at a Dover, Delaware casino in an attempt to avoid income taxes.

They're jailed pending extradition to Delaware.

Benward is from Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Hartfield is from Orange, Texas.
