Man Who Testified in Shooting Trial Now Charged With Homicide

A man who testified in the shooting death of a western Pennsylvania mother has now been charged in another homicide involving a man against whom he testified.

Twenty-four-year-old Jerrick Lane-Bryant is charged in Allegheny County in the death of 21-year-old Steven Lee of McKees Rocks, who was shot multiple times after he was pulled off a party bus outside a Pittsburgh bar in March 2013.

Also charged are 22-year-old James Lawrence and 23-year-old Michael Lyons.

Lawrence and 23-year-old Dorian Peebles are charged in the homicide of 28-year-old Tiona Jackson outside a Beltzhoover bar in February 2013.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Lane-Bryant offered key testimony at a preliminary hearing for Lawrence.

Court documents don't list an attorney for Lane-Bryant; a listed number for him couldn't be found Friday.
