A man is recovering after being struck and dragged by a freight train around midnight Monday in Pottstown.
The victim was hit, dragged and then pinned underneath the train on the Hanover Street tracks for almost a half hour before being transported to the hospital, according to police.
The train tracks are operated by Northfolk Southern.
The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
