A man was stabbed in the stomach in the parking lot of a McDonald's in Northeast Philadelphia.
After the 22-year-old man was stabbed, police say he ran inside the McDonald's on the 8900 block of Frankford Avenue to get help.
"I was on break when a guy came in, he got stabbed. He was bleeding and he told someone to call the cops," said Devin Benedict, McDonald's worker.
But authorities tell NBC10 that an undercover police officer happened to be eating there and ran outside. That officer was able to arrest the suspect on the scene.
Authorities aren't sure of a motive in the stabbing.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition..
