Police are investigating an alleged shooting and robbery near an Atlantic County high school.
Police say a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg arrived at the hospital on Tuesday.
The man told police he was on a side street near Pleasantville High School earlier in the day when he was approached by two teenage boys. The teens allegedly robbed him of his cash and shot him in the leg before fleeing the scene.
The man claims the teens were dressed in school athletic uniforms and black hoodies.
While the man initially claimed he was shot and robbed near Pleasantville High, police say upon further questioning they now suspect the incident actually took place near Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, New Jersey.
No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
