A man was shot and killed inside a Chester City home Wednesday evening.
The victim, an unidentified man in his 40's, was inside a home on the 1100 block of Hancock Street around 6:20 p.m.
Investigators say the man did not live at the home and several other people were inside with him. While he was inside the family room, an unidentified gunman opened fire.
The victim was struck in the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene after police arrived.
The suspect is described as a man in his early 20's wearing a red and black leather coat.
