A man is recovering after he was shot five times in the Kingsessing section of the city.
The 23-year-old man was on the 110 block of South Frazier street at 7:11 p.m. when an unidentified gunman opened fire.
The man was struck five times and the gunman fled the scene. The victim was taken by private vehicle to Misericordia Hospital. He is currently in stable condition.
A weapon has not been recovered and no arrest has been made. Police continue to investigate.
