NBC10.com

Police say a suburban Philadelphia man is dead after being struck while walking on an access ramp of Interstate 95.

Investigators say 24-year-old Steven Michael Lam, of Brookhaven, was found dead around 2 a.m. Saturday on the Exit 1 ramp in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County. That's just north of the Delaware state line.

Police say a Wilmington, Del., resident called 911 to report hitting something, but was not at the scene when officers arrived.

Police were able to locate the driver and the vehicle, a grey Dodge Charger, both are in custody.

No charges have been filed.
