A routine traffic stop in North Philadelphia ended with police shooting one suspect and searching for another.
Police were attempting to pull over a car at 10th and Cumberland Streets around 1 a.m. The driver stopped and the passenger got out of the car and ran.
Officers chased the man a short distance. Police say officers shot the suspect when he pulled out a gun.
The man is in stable condition.
Police are still searching for the driver.
