I-95 Lane Closures to Begin Tuesday Night Between Betsy Ross Bridge and Bridge Street

If you are planning on traveling north on Interstate 95 within the next few days, you may encounter some travel restrictions. One lane will be closed between the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue Interchange and the Bridge Street Interchange due to construction. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the road work will take place from 9 p.m. on Tuesday to 5am on Wednesday.

To improve the ramp system and highway efficiency, I-95 North will be reduced to two lanes between the two interchanges for new installment of concrete along the shoulder.

Motorists traveling north on Aramingo Avenue between Wheatsheaf Lane and Church Street will also experience traffic delays due to sporadic land closures during the aforementioned time frame.

Drivers should also anticipate slow moving traffic and intermittent delays as they are entering construction zones.
