A man is in the hospital after he was struck with a 2x4 during a home invasion robbery in Philadelphia Saturday night.
Police say a woman in her 30’s along with three men armed with 2x4’s and wearing dark hooded sweatshirts broke into a 48-year-old man’s second floor apartment on the 1900 block of W Hunting Park Avenue at 7:35 p.m. Saturday.
A 32-year-old man who was also inside the apartment was hit in the back of the head with a 2x4 during the incident, police said. The suspects stole $400 in cash, an iPhone 6, prescription medication, credit cards and an ID before fleeing the scene, according to investigators.
The 32-year-old man was taken to Temple University Hospital. Officials have not yet revealed his condition.
No arrests have been made.
