One of the most seriously wounded victims of mass stabbing at a high school was able to attend the yearly prom less than a month after the attacks.
Seventeen-year-old Jared Boger on Friday attended the Franklin Regional Senior High School prom with his girlfriend. He is able to walk but also used a wheelchair to ease the stress.
Boger suffered injuries to his liver, diaphragm and blood vessels and underwent four surgeries after the April 9 attacks at the school outside of Pittsburgh.
Sixteen-year-old Alex Hribal is charged as an adult with 21 counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault and a school weapons violation. He allegedly attacked students and a security guard in a hallway just before the morning bell.
