Two armed men robbed a pizza delivery worker late Saturday night as the victim tried to bring food to a customer's home.
The two suspects, one wearing a mask and both carrying guns, approached a Takka Grill employee shortly around 11:45 a.m. as he was making a delivery on the 4700 block of Tampa Street, near Whitaker Avenue, in the city's Feltonville section, police said.
The robbers demanded money and food, stealing more than $400 from the worker.
Both suspects ran from the scene.
Authorities are trying to determine if a victim of a hit-and-run, which occurred within a block of the armed robbery, is connected to the hold-up.
The worker was not hurt in the crime.
Takka Grill, located at 418 E. Wyoming Ave., is only a short distance from where the armed robbery and hit-and-run occurred.
