Ellen’s Coming, Villanova

Villanova is the first clue in The Ellen DeGeneres Show's day of tweets: Follow them and you'll win a great prize, they say.

In its special challenge aimed directly at Philadelphians, The Ellen DeGeneres show is tweeting clues all day today, leading people to places in the area.

Those who participate are evidently in for a big, big surprise.

At 5:30 p.m., clues started to unravel as the host posted this: "If you go to Villanova wear your running shoes & await my instructions…"

It provided a little more information than her post at 3:15 p.m. which directed fans to head to Villanova University and “Stay alert!”

At about 11:30 a.m., The Ellen Show said, “If you live near Philadelphia, you might want to call in sick today…stay in bed and watch my tweets.” Those who did just that would have seen the promose an hour later that “Villanova has got a good thing coming.”

No specifics have been tweeted since the Villanova clues but the show’s producers promise big things to those who continue to participate.

Stay up with Ellen’s tweets, or count on us to keep you updated on the adventure.

Winners of the unnamed prizes will be announced sometime tonight.
