Elderly Man Goes Missing From Retirement Home

    Police are searching for a man who they say went missing from a retirement home.

    Phillips Brooks, 81, was last seen around 9:15 a.m. on Friday at the Meadow Lakes Retirement Community on Etra Road in East Windsor, New Jersey.

    Family members told police that Brooks recently experienced short-term memory loss as well as confusion and say there is a real concern for his safety.

    Brooks is described as a white male with gray hair standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a maroon-colored jacket with a gray collar and dark-colored pants.

    Police also say he may be driving a red 2006 Subaru Forester Wagon with the NJ license plate "ZTS-47Y"
