Dover Man Arrested for Child Porn: Cops

Police arrested 21-year-old Jeremy Trower after they say child pornography was found on his laptop.

A Dover man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

The Delaware Child Predator Task Force began to investigate after Delaware State Police received a report from a Dover computer shop that a laptop computer brought in for repair contained pictures of child pornography.

Investigators say the Task Force issued a search warrant for the laptop and a preliminary forensic analysis revealed numerous images of child porn.

Police then obtained an arrest warrant for Jeremy Trower, 21, the owner of the laptop. Police searched his home in Dover and seized two other computers as well as other digital media.

Trower is charged with 25 counts in dealing in child pornography. He was arraigned and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $250,000 secured bail.
