Del. Drug Kingpin Sentenced to Prison

A man prosecutors say was the leader of a drug trafficking organization known as the 30th Street Crew has been sentenced to 6 years in prison.

Thirty-four-year-old Qiydaar Miller was sentenced in federal court in Wilmington on Friday. Miller pleaded guilty to federal drug charges that stemmed from a scheme in which Miller received shipments of heroin from New York, and distributed the drug out of a house in Wilmington that was also the target of violence.

Miller and nine co-defendants were indicted in June of 2013. Authorities say 14 people were indicted in connection with the trafficking enterprise.

Prosecutors say Miller admitted that he had distributed at least 700 grams of heroin, and sold cocaine and crack cocaine.
