A teenage girl was shot dead in Brewerytown Wednesday night. It happened within a block of a double murder earlier in the afternoon.
The teen was gunned down just after 7 p.m. near a playground at 30th and Jefferson Streets. Police say she was shot in the stomach and chest.
A gun was recovered at the scene.
The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered in an apartment building on the 3000 block of Redner Street a few hours early. Both victims were in their 20s and had been shot several times. Witnesses tell police they saw a group of men enter the building moments before the shootings.
Police are questioning two men about the murder of the teenager. They're also looking for a female teen who they believe may have been involved.
None of the victims have been identified.
