Philadelphia police are searching for a man who investigators say was caught on surveillance video stealing a woman’s puppy.
The 20-year-old woman told police she went inside the Rite Aid store on the 2500 block of Aramingo Avenue Monday around 11 a.m. She left her five-month-old pit bull tied to a pole in front of the store as she shopped inside.
When the woman walked out of the store, her puppy was gone.
Surveillance video from the area captured an unidentified man taking the dog from the pole and fleeing the scene in a Royal blue SUV.
The woman’s dog is described as a grey and white 5-month-old pit bull.
