TMZ reports the incident happened Thursday night while Christie was on the Seaside Heights boardwalk getting ice cream with his family.

After calling a reporter “stupid” and an “idiot,” for asking an off-topic question earlier this week, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was caught on video getting into another heated exchange, this time with a passerby in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

TMZ reports the incident happened Thursday night while Christie was on the boardwalk getting ice cream with his family. A passerby confronted the Governor and criticized his education policy, according to TMZ.  While the remarks that reportedly sparked the argument were not caught on tape, Christie’s angry response was.

“You’re a big shot!” shouted Christie. “You’re a real big shot shooting your mouth off.”

“Nah, just take care of the teachers!” replied the man.

“Keep walking away,” said Christie as another man led him in the other direction.

Christie’s camp has no comment on the incident, according to TMZ.
