Teen Critical After Being Shot in the Head

Delaware State Police say a 15-year-old boy was shot in the head during an argument with three men. The teen is in critical condition.

State police said in a news release Saturday that police were called just after midnight. Investigators don't know exactly why the teen was shot, but say he had been involved in some sort of argument or fight with the three men.

When the shooter first pulled the trigger, the gun jammed, according to witnesses. The teen tried to run away, but the gun then functioned and he was shot in the back. He tried to then hide behind a tree, but the men caught up with him.

Police say the teen was then shot three more times. Authorities are still working to find the suspects.
