A Bensalem Police Officer has been taken to the hospital after being involved in a motorcycle crash in the Bucks County, Pennsylvania town.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Knights and Street Roads, police tell NBC10.
The officer was driving north along Knights Road when a car pulled out of the Kohl's shopping center and collided with the police motorcycle, police said. The bike was left damaged, laying on its side near the intersection.
Paramedics took the officer to a nearby Aria Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment of nonlife threatening injuries, police said. The car's driver remained at the scene and was cooperating.
The incident remains under investigation.
