Polina Khrizman, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
Dr. Khrizman earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City, Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Evanston Northwestern Hospital, Evanston, Illinois, where she also received the award for Excellence in Collaborative Practice from the Department of Nursing.
Dr. Khrizman completed her fellowship training in hematology/oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, where she pursued her strong clinical interest in gastrointestinal and thoracic oncology. She was chief fellow and received the Corliss Johnson Research Scholar award during her fellowship.
Board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Khrizman is an active participant in the division’s medical student and resident education efforts, and participates in Cooper CME and community education programs.
Dr. Khrizman focuses her practice in caring for patients with lung, gastrointestinal and orthopaedic cancers. She is fluent in Russian.
