Philly police are trying to figure out if the same man strangled two women in Kensington, choked and raped a another women and assaulted another woman over the past couple months.

The most recent report of an attack came out Friday. On Oct. 31, a 30-year-old woman claims that a man matching the description of another attack, possibly assaulted her in the area of Sergeant Street and Kensington Avenue.

The attacker in the choking case is described as a slender light-skinned Black man in his late 20s. He's between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10 with a small goatee and a skin mark on his cheek. He wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue denim cargo pants.

This victim survived the attack -- other women did not. The two murder victims were strangled in the last few weeks and in both cases, their half-naked bodies were left in vacant lots less than a mile apart.

A third woman survived being choked and raped in early October around the same spot where the latest murder victim was found, police said. Her attack occurred before either of the killings -- just like the latest report. She approached police when they were canvassing the neighborhood.

Both the attack victims went willingly with the man to a lot, according to police.

Homicide detectives are trying to figure out if the attack and choking cases are connected to the strangulations.

On Nov. 3, Elaine Goldberg, a nursing student at Gwynedd Mercy College, was choked to death. Her body was found in a lot at 2800 Ruth Street.

Ten days later, Nicole Piacentini's body was found strangled in a lot at 1907 E. Cumberland.

Police say right now they have no physical or forensic evidence to link the murders and attack, but because of public concern, they felt compelled to put out the composite sketch of the third victim's attacker.
