Fire Burns at Discount Store

    Watch as firefighters battle hot spots during a dollar store blaze in the Wynnefield Heights section of the city.

    Fire burned through a discount store this morning.

    Flames broke out around 5:15 a.m. at the Treasure Dollar store along the 3900 block of Ford Rad in Philadelphia’s Wynnefield Heights section.

    Firefighters could be seen battling the blaze at the store, which sits at the end of a strip of stores.

    No injuries were reported.

    Firefighters had the blaze under control around 6 a.m.

    No word on the exact extent of damage.

    As fire crews worked, roads near the area of the fire were closed or detoured.
