No Doubt About It: Gwen Stefani Quits Solo Career

After focusing on family, the singer is ready to reunite with the band

Gwen Stefani is ditching her solo career and reuniting with her No Doubt band mates.

Stefani joined the band in 1986, when she was 17.

“That was a moment in time,” the singer told Entertainment Weekly. "It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you're at in that time in your life ... everything works out how it should."

Stefani’s solo hits included “Rich Girl,” “What You Waiting For, and “L.A.M.B.,” which is also the name of her clothing line.

And, who could forget the infectious hook of “Hollaback Girl”?

The band said they took time off to focus on their families, but on Friday, the band will make the announcement official.
