Will Ferrell Figure Skates to the “Downton Abbey” Theme on Jimmy Fallon's “Tonight Show”

"Downton Abbey's" butler needs to make sure Will Ferrell doesn't swoop in and steal his job!

On Thursday's "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Ferrell performed a figure skating routine (in white sneakers and not on ice, but you get the picture) and spoke about his hopes of competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

"You don't know how painful it's been to be snubbed by the [2014 Olympic figure skating] team, not even told when they tryouts were on," he said. "But I've been working on my routine, and in 2018, I'll be 50."

But, Ferrell's already figured out the routine that will get him to South Korea for the next winter games and he's got the penguin suit, top hat and white gloves to tie it all together. "If you're wondering about what my costume is, my theme is 'Downton Abbey,' and I'm a butler," he explained.

"Are you Carson from 'Downton Abbey'?" asked Fallon.

"I don't know, I've never seen it," said Ferrell, "but I'm a butler."

Fallon asked if he'd really "never seen 'Downton Abbey,'" and Ferrell replied, "No! But is there a butler in it?"

There is, indeed! Then, keeping in character, Ferrell performed his excellent ice dancing routine, complete with spins, jumps and even some sliding on the floor action.

Looks like Team USA's got a good shot at winning gold in 2018!
